Yuan Cang, a descendant of the chosen demon slayer, is entrusted with the task of protecting the human realm and vanquishing evil forces. Over a decade ago, the fox-like beauty Hujiao, under the command of the Land King of the demonic clan, led an army to annihilate the demon slayers. Before his father’s demise, he passed down the responsibility and the legendary Golden-Hooped Rod to his young son, Yuan Cang. Escaping from the clutches of the enemy, Yuan Cang inherits his father’s mission to banish demons and safeguard peace in the mortal world. As the years pass, the grown-up Yuan Cang, alongside his brother Dashing, embarks on a journey to avenge their father. Along the way, they encounter the celestial envoy Xiao Ba and the enigmatic Asha. Together, they learn about the epic war between gods and demons and discover their own destined roles. Determined and united, the brothers and their newfound allies set forth on a quest to find the seventy-two shards of the divine spirits, in order to revive the legendary warrior who can defeat the invincible Buddha.
